The KTN Health Community and the Technology Strategy Board are pleased to announce this jointly organised meeting, BioMedical Catalyst – Navigating the Valley of Death for MedTech and other Life Sciences Businesses.
The Biomedical Catalyst (BMC) is a joint programme from the Technology Strategy Board and the Medical Research Council which offers funding to innovative small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and academics looking to work either individually or in collaboration to develop solutions to healthcare challenge. The programme accepts innovative ideas from any sector or discipline that demonstrate potential to provide significant positive healthcare and economic impact.
This meeting offers a general briefing on the Biomedical Catalyst followed by a workshop aimed at SMEs in the MedTech sector who would like to understand more about the funding opportunities from the Technology Strategy Board and in particular the Biomedical Catalyst. The workshop includes presentations from two recipients of Technology Strategy Board awards. There will also be a round table sessions where delegates will have the opportunity to learn more about funding opportunities for the sector.
