Date: September 27, 2017

Location: Principle Hotel, York

What does MeDe Innovation mean to you?
Show us on video what MeDe Innovation means to you and you could win a GoPro!  Your video will also be showcased and judged at the final MeDe Innovation Annual Conference on 18th January, attracting more than 200 delegates from the medical devices innovation community.
This one day workshop will include:

  • introduction to audio production, editing and video production for YouTube
  • hands-on experience with your smartphone, ipad, GoPro or other handheld recording device
  • delivered by science journalist Richard Hollingham, a radio and TV reporter/producer with extensive BBC experience

You will then have until Thursday 14th December to create and submit your video (read the full submission guidelines (opens PDF).
There are 2 places available per institution for this training course, and there is a waiting list availble. If there is high demand we will look to run another session.
Please note that if you register for this workshop but fail to attend, a £200 charge will apply.

If you use an iPhone, the app we use is Filmic Pro: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/filmic-pro/id436577167?mt=8 . Don’t, however, feel you need to buy it right now. It’s not essential for the course.
We will also be covering the basics of editing, using Hit Film Express: https://hitfilm.com/express
This is free. Again, it’s not essential you have it for the course but you might find it useful – particularly when we go through editing examples.
If you don’t have any of the above, don’t worry!
