Complimentary access to Fraunhofer benchmarking tool (worth €900)
January 22, 2014
Leeds University Business School (LUBS) has formed an exclusive UK partnership with a major European initiative to benchmark innovative medical device manufacturers’ technology and innovation capabilities.
The partnership is led by the Fraunhofer Institute – Europe’s highly renowned largest applications-oriented research foundation. They have very successfully run this project in Germany since the 1990s and expanded it to other European countries.
Leeds University Business School (LUBS) are recruiting innovative manufacturers to take part in the Fraunhofer research – focusing on one of the UKs leading capability in the area – medical device manufacturing.
Everyone who completes the survey will be given free access to the Fraunhofer benchmarking tool (which commercially costs €900 to access). In addition, you will receive regular executive briefings on important trends in manufacturing innovation.
The project will enable a better understanding of the processes and dynamics of technological innovation in manufacturing companies, to influence policy (e.g. government investment), management practice and education. The participants in the research will see how their manufacturing operations compare with their counterparts both in the UK and across Europe. The data is kept up to date to assess current manufacturing practices within the sector and see how it compares.
The survey data will be stored and analysed anonymously. The Data Protection and Confidentiality Statement provide more information about the conduct of the survey. The questionnaire can be completed in your own time or in an interview setting.
