Capability Description
Pilot scale wet spinning and melt-spinning facilities enable manufacture of continous filaments from solution spun and polymer-melts, with and without nanoparticle inclusions. Continuous in-line manufacture is possible from multiple spinning orifices.
Case Study
Allows optimal process conditions to be established by organisations prior to scaling-up their manufacture; a large variety of biomaterials are compatible including collagen, alginates, chitosan and degradable synthetics.
